Bedroom Decor
We don't have a headboard (and probably won't for a while) but I wanted something up behind the bed just to give it a little bit of something...extra. All I took were empty wooden frames and wrapped some fabric around it and stapled it in place. I also used an embroidery hoop as well. I think it turned out all right (I would much prefer a headboard though...someday!)
Halloween Decorations
I totally fell in love with all the subway art floating around the blogosphere. I had a piece of wood lying around and knew it would be perfect! I am so excited with how it turned out. I love it!
I made these Halloween ghost luminaries out of old glass jars. They look rough up close, but they are pretty fun with some electric candles glowing inside!
I took a fall fake flower decoration and embellished it with a few creepy friends :)

Headbands
I went a little flower crazy and used the handmade goods for headbands...I think I've figured out to make a headband EXACTLY the color I want :)

Thank You Card from CPS 152 Sketch
Yes, I know my cutting mat makes a totally awesome background ;) but I'm in the midst of P/T conferences, and we all know my pictures aren't that fabulous anyway :) I really like my floating butterflies and the purple and green Amy Butler pattern. I decided I need to buy more embellishments (oh, and more Cricut cartridges too!)

Family Fun Idea

I saw this idea for a Valentine's card in this month's issue of Family Fun. It looked really cute, and I thought about making these for the kids in my classroom. They did come out adorable, but I have rethought making 24 of them...if I had children, I could set up an assembly line and churn these out quickly, but doing them myself is just too time-consuming! I used my Cricut to do the cutting of the heart and tiny flower shapes, which helped, but assembling them all is what took the most time. Maybe I am just too impatient!
CPS Sketch 151

Using the CPS Sketch, I came up with this card. I use chipboard from Stampin Up, paper from DCWV, and a stamp by Stampin Up using the Versamark Pen (it's difficult to see in the pictures, and I am still experimenting with the Versamark). I liked the way it came out, although I am still learning the technique for sanding paper off of chipboard! Is there no easier way??!! I did have to adjust the sketch a bit, as my chipboard pieces were too large to fit across the card, but I like it that way. I have really liked using the CPS sketches for inspiration, I was looking for something to give me ideas, and I really enjoy taking a look at what other people have done.
